Abstract
Branched silver aggregates are grown by electroless deposition in a qu asi-planar geometry. The early stages of growth are studied by Fourier analysis of the aggregate interface. The Fourier modes initially grow exponentially in time with growth rates which increase with the elect rolyte concentration c. The maximum growth rate is proportional to c(o ) where delta = 2.63 +/- 0.14.
