Abstract
We describe a Kerr-lens mode-locked Cr:forsterite femtosecond laser in whic h two Gires-Tournois interferometer mirrors are used to provide negative in tracavity group-delay dispersion. The mode-locked laser produced near-bandw idth-limited pulses of 71 fs with an average output power of 700 mW at a wa velength of 1259 nm.
