Abstract
Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) studies for a series of antiasthmatic agents have been discussed. Significant correlations of the activity were observed when topological indices viz. Szeged Index (Sz), mol ecular negentropy (N) and first-order valence connectivity index ((1)chi(v) ) were coupled with other structural descriptors. Finally, an excellent cor relation is obtained by introducing the component of Wiener index i.e. Wd t aking care of the double bond contribution.
