Abstract
Incoherent-to-coherent converters using an induced self-pumped phase conjug ator and using a mutually pumped phase conjugator are demonstrated in a Ba1 -xSrxTiO3 crystal. Resolution of 28 line pairs/mm has been obtained for the two incoherent-to-coherent converters. An notable advantage for the latter converter is that the converted image with amplified intensity can be obta ined easily. (C) 2000 Society of Photo-Optical instrumentation Engineers.
