Abstract
Two methods of deconvolution of electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra, based on the use of differential and integrated spectra, respectively , are demonstrated using numerically generated example spectra. It is shown that the use of integrated spectra better reflects the spin conc entration information contained in the original spectrum. It is argued that this is more suitable for quantitative applications, such as in dating. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
