Abstract
The focusing effect on a cold neutron beam using a 2 m permanent sextupole magnet was measured. The beam intensity was enhanced at all measured wavele ngths, and a maximum gain of 36.5 was obtained in the wavelength range 14.0 Angstrom less than or equal to lambda less than or equal to 14.8 Angstrom.
