Abstract
The diffractometer epsilon, designed for strain measurements on geological samples, is installed at the beamline 7a of the pulsed reactor IBR-2 in Dub na and based on a 5-axis goniometer. In situ deformation experiments can be performed with the pressure device ExStress which generates uniaxial load up to 100 kN. The result of a deformation experiment on a sandstone is give n.
