Abstract
The work reports preliminary QENS results on aqueous solutions of trehalose . The employment of H/D substitution allows the separation of the diffusive dynamics of water from that of trehalose. The data analysis shows a slowed down water dynamics in comparison to that of bulk water. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
