Abstract
Effects of a disorder degree on the vibrational spectrum of a PbSc1/2Ta1/2O 3 - (PST) relaxer ferroelectric were studied by inelastic neutron scatterin g in the temperature range 77-320 K. PST samples with different disorder de grees were observed to exhibit different lattice dynamics. It has been foun d that at low energies the density of vibrational states of disordered PST varies with temperature in a wider energy range than that of the ordered PS T.
