Abstract
We report on neutron diffraction studies of UCo1/3T2/3Al solid solutions, w here T = Ru, Pt or Rh. Preferential occupation of two non-equivalent sites by the transition metals was determined for each compound. In addition, lon g-range magnetic order was confirmed for all three compounds. Correlations between the crystallographic and magnetic structures are discussed in terms of the Sf-ligand hybridization. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
