Abstract
Neutron diffraction and bulk magnetic studies have been performed in UNiAID (2.1), and UNiA.lHa(2.3). Due to the lattice expansion and weakening of the 5f-ligand hybridization, UNiAlD2.1 orders magnetically at a much higher te mperature than the isostructural UNiAl. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
