Abstract
Bulk industrial Alnico specimens of different macroscopic magnetic properti es are characterized by means of neutron TOF diffraction and high-resolutio n sample scanning. The material composition of chemically different crystal lites is analysed. Anisotropic. Alnico exhibits a typical fibre texture.
