Abstract
We report results on ac and de conductivities, magnetoresistance, hopping t hermopower and X-ray diffraction measurements in a-GaSb. Parameters of loca lized states are determined which allow one to check quantitatively the the oretical predictions for Mott's variable range hopping transport. The exist ing theory is found to describe adequately the low temperature de conductiv ity and hopping thermopower; however, high temperature thermopower and ac c onductivity show appreciable deviations from the theoretical predictions.
