Abstract
Mixing of the KBr-KCl system obtained by successive evaporation has been st udied by electron microscopy. Evaporation was done on amorphous carbon film at room temperature. The spontaneous mixture particles have been observed with various ratios by controlling the mean film thickness. The spontaneous mixture occurs at 200 nm size that is a hundred times larger than in the m etallic alloy system.
