Abstract
Such parameters of a tokamak reactor as the major radius, plasma current, r eactor volume, neutron load to the first wall, heat load to the divertor pl ates, and bootstrap current are studied as functions of the aspect ratio, a ssuming that the reactor operates at a fixed power. The conclusion is drawn that a demonstrative prototype reactor should be based on a large aspect r atio tokamak. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/lnterperiodica".
