Abstract
Eudendrium bathyalis, a new species, is described from relatively deep-wate r (283 m) on the offshore slope of the oceanic island of Bermuda. Its disti nctive characters are the small size of the colony, the cnidome, comprising two sizes of microbasic euryteles and the unreduced female blastostyle, be aring eggs supported by long peduncles.
