Plasmochemical decontamination of toxic organic wastes and spectroscopic monitoring of the process

The principal feasibility of liquidation of toxic organic wastes by plasmoc hemical methods is considered with starch and benzene as model organic comp ounds. It is proposed that utilization of toxic organic compounds by plasmo chemical method be monitored by the electronic spectra of the molecules and free radicals. A key fragment of the electronic spectrum of the C-2 radica l is presented that enables complete interpretation of the rotational struc ture.
