Abstract
The effect of a series of urea and thiourea derivatives on the photochemica l stability (including laser resistance) of methyl methacrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer (colorless and dyed with Rhodamine 6Zh) was examined. A cor relation was revealed between the chemical nature and photostabilizing effe ct of the compounds. The possible mechanisms of their photostabilizing effe ct were discussed.
