D. Mo et al., Determination of fractional dimension of low-dimensional solids by electron paramagnetic resonance, SOL ST COMM, 114(5), 2000, pp. 277-279
We propose a new concept of the determination of the fractional dimension o
f low-dimensional solids by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). First, w
e present the model and the theory for determining the fractional dimension
by EPR. The line shapes of EPR for different fractional-dimensional solids
were calculated. Second, we describe the result of the EPR measurement of
polyaniline samples with different conductivity, and the determination of t
he values of the dimension. This result is compared with that determined by
the spectroscopic ellipsometry. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights
