Equine T-cell cytokines - Protection and pathology

Cytokines play important roles in regulating both cellular and humoral immu ne responses in horses. The cloning sequencing, and expression of cytokines and their receptors have enabled researchers to characterize equine cytoki ne response in various clinical settings. A more complete understanding of immune responses may lead to the development of better preventative or ther apeutic measures.
