Abstract
Remains of multituberculates are very rare in Upper Cretaceous deposits of Europe, being described only from the upper Maastrichtian Sinpetru Formatio n, Hateg Basin, Romania. New excavations undertaken in the coeval Densus-Ci ula Formation from Hateg led to the recovery of a few isolated multitubercu late teeth, which we describe herein. At least some of these teeth belong t o Hainina Vianey-Liaud, 1979, a poorly known Paleocene genus from western E urope.
