Abstract
Adaptive fuzzy method based on input - output linearization is used to cont rol two kinds of chaos systems. It not only can make chaos systems realize stabilization, but also can trace any period in the attractor of the chaos systems or exterior period traces. The characteristic of the method is that it does not require accurate mathematical models of the chaos systems and can effectively control the actual chaos systems whose mathematical models are difficult to obtain.
