In this paper, we present medium resolution spectra of the night-sky OH emi
ssion. The spectra cover the range 0.997 - 2.25 mu m with a resolution of a
bout 8000. Line wavelengths are computed from laboratory data and are given
in vacuum. A few lines due to O-2 are also identified.
This new set of data can be used to calibrate the wavelength scale of spect
ra obtained in the near-infrared. It can also help to distinguish between t
he lines due to astronomical objects and lines due to the earth atmosphere.
