Abstract
We have identified a series of low molecular weight (M-r < 500) N-acylpheny lalanines that are effective inhibitors of the VCAM-VLA-4 interaction. Inve stigation of the SAR of the N-acyl moiety led to the identification of N-be nzylpyroglutamyl derivatives as being particularly potent. (C) 2000 Publish ed by Elsevier Science Ltd.
