Abstract
Matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry was used for the mass spectrometry analyses of calixarene com pounds. The influences of sample preparation, detection mode, laser intensi ty, voltage and time of delayed extraction on the measurement results were investigated. The mass spectrometry data of twenty-five compounds have show n the MALDI-TOF mass spectra with satisfactory performances in sensitivity, resolution and accuracy can be easily obtained. A new mass spectrometry me thod was established and provided for the mass identification of calixarene compounds.
