Speaker placement for robust virtual audio display system

Based on a robustness analysis of the multichannel crosstalk canceller, a p hysical insight into a 3D audio system is presented, and hence a novel meth od for placing multiple speakers is introduced to increase the robustness o f a sound reproduction system. Furthermore, the optimum loudspeaker positio ns are derived and simulation results are presented.
