Bm. Choudary et al., Acylation of alcohols with carboxylic acids via the evolution of compatible acidic sites in montmorillonites, GREEN CHEM, 2(2), 2000, pp. 67-70
An efficient and selective acylation of alcohols employing carboxylic acids
as acylating agents is realized, for the first time, through the tuning of
acidic sites of montmorillonite achieved by incorporation of the appropria
te exchangeable cations.
