Abstract
Endotoxin hers been implicated in the processes that can lead to organ fail ure and death after surgery and critical illness, While there are no curren tly available commercial therapies directed against endotoxin many have bee n tried or are in an experimental stage. In this article we outline past pr esent and future approaches to antiendotoxin therapy.
