The evaporation rate from a real evaporator is modeled with allowance for t
he effects of the interaction of the electron beam with the evaporant and t
he heat-transfer process in the evaporator. The emission characteristics fo
r a real evaporator of finite dimensions during the sublimation or evaporat
ion of a solid in cases where the evaporation rate is a function of time an
d space are presented. The variations of the shape of the evaporation front
