In this study, the authors attempted a simulation technique of radiation co
nvection heat transfer in the high temperature fields of industrial furnace
s, boilers and gas turbine combustors. The convection effect is analyzed by
differential equations, but the radiation effect is analyzed by an integra
l equation. So, both effects are difficult to arrange using the same type o
f equations. Then. the authors introduced the Zone Method and Monte Carlo M
ethod for integral equation of radiation effect and the Finite Difference M
ethod for differential equations of convection effect. A three-dimensional
analysis of a high temperature furnace was performed by this simulation tec
hnique to obtain its temperature distribution. Furthermore, another radiati
on-convection heat transfer analysis in a low temperature living room was p
erformed by the same technique. Finally, the authors tried to develop compu
ter software for radiation convection heat transfer, and described their id
ea of software construction for the above.
