IEEE1394 home network

The IEEE1394 is attracting much attention as a network to facilitate the fu sion of the Internet and broadcasting from the terminal side. We have devel oped the essential networking technologies to utilize the 1394 as a network : long-haul, bridge, MPEG over 1394 with content protection, IP over 1394 a nd network middleware. We expect that the system integration of these techn ologies can lead to the construction of a future multimedia home network.
