Abstract
The generic limits and relationships of Platycraspedum are discussed, and t he new species P. wuchengyii is described. It is most closely related to Ta phrospermum, from which it differs by having toothed filaments of median st amens, 2-lobed stigmas, palmately veined leaves, unequal sepals, and minute ly reticulate seeds.
