Water-soluble combinations of dexanabinol: prodrugs and analogs

Design, synthesis and study of water-soluble esters of dexanabinol are desc ribed. The solubility. stability and in vitro activity of various polar or permanently charged derivatives resulting by acylation of the allylic hydro xyl or phenol functionalities was investigated. Several combination can be used as water-soluble prodrugs, and others as active congeners of dexanabin ol.
