Abstract
A stable strictosidine glucosidase was isolated from dried powdered materia l of Strychnos mellodora. The kinetic parameters K-m and V-max of the purif ied glucosidases from Catharanthus roseus and S. mellodora towards strictos idine, dolichantoside and palicoside were determined and compared.
