Abstract
Coupling of 2-chloro-1,10-phenanthroline with a source of Ni(0) affords the tetradentate ligand 2,2'-bi-( 1,10-phenanthroline). This ligand and a resu lting Ni(II) complex were characterised by X-ray crystallography. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd All rights reserved.
