Abstract
Integrated and local compaction of porous bodies during sintering are analy zed and an algorithm is developed for calculating the structure parameters of sintered materials. Accurate quantitative estimates are obtained for the efficiency of porous material sintering in different structural models. Th e most precise procedure is based on a model del eloped by the author for t he structure of porous materials and an approximation according to which Vo ronoi polyhedra are considered to be unchanged with a decrease in system po rosity, and pore volume decreases as a result of an apparent increase in pa rticle diameter.
