Abstract
Basic idea of Part I of ''An interpretation of membership functions an d the properties of general probabilistic operators as fuzzy set opera tors'' (1992) mainly on the conceptual construction of membership func tions, is straightened out and illustrated by derailed examples. The p urpose of this article is to clarify unclear points in notations and c oncepts of(Mabuchi, 1992) as a step toward the extension of the theory from type 1 to three-valued fuzzy sets.
