Abstract
Increasing numbers of plant proteins are being shown to have posttranslatio nally-attached lipids. The modifications include N-myristoylation, S-palmit oylation, prenylation by farnesyl or geranylgeranyl moieties, or:attachment of glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchors.
