The regions of existence of various lead(II)-containing compounds both in s
olutions and as precipitates were studied over a wide range of the pH value
s of aqueous solutions at temperatures from 20 to 65 degrees C. The data ob
tained were used for the development of a model of equilibria in metal ion-
water-ligand systems, which provides a better understanding of the phenomen
a observed in this work and described in the literature, and also makes it
possible to calculate the equilibrium constants without significant systema
tic errors.
