Abstract
An improved procedure has been developed for the synthesis of highly substi tuted pyrroles through a simple one-pot reaction of alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes/ketones, amines and nitroalkanes on the surface of silica gel wit hout any solvent under microwave irradiation.
