Abstract
Experimental data concerning a specific mode of inelastic deformation of cr
ystallizable polymers in the presence of liquid media, in other words, delo
calized solvent crazing, are reviewed. The characteristic features of this
mode of polymer deformation, are revealed, and its principal difference fro
m classical solvent crazing is described. The data available on the mechani
sm of this phenomenon are analyzed.
