Main weed infestation factors in modern systems of crop growing in Belarus

The analysis of increasing weed infestation in modem crop growing systems i n the country showed, that it is caused by several reasons. The main reason s are: Decreased use of herbicides, especially the ones based on glyphosate , a great amount of systematic application of herbicides based on 2,4-D and MCPA (more than 50 years), increase growth of stubble crops as preceding c rops (including perennial grasses), violation of tillage technologies and m isuse and incorrect refurbish of organic fertilizer.
