Abstract
Primus (active ingredient: florasulam, 50 g/l, SC) controls a broad range o f important weeds in cereals like Galium aparine, Matricaria spp., Stellari a media, Cruciferae, Polygonum convolvulus and Cirsium arvense. Field trial s over several years have shown that Primus is able to control Galium apari ne with a very high efficacy and robustness at low temperatures and even wh en applied on frozen soil. The appplication of Primus in pure AHL (liquid ammonia nitrate urea) increa ses the efficacy on poorly controlled weeds like Veronica sp. or Viola arve nsis significant. Furthermore the speed of action against Galium aparine ha s also increased.
