Abstract
The characteristics gf various methods of desorption of uranium and other v aluable impurities with ion exchangers, saturated in the sorprion cycle, ar e presented. it is shown that the desorption methods developed give the max imum yield of metals in the output desorbate and simultaneously substantial ly decrease the impurity content in the finished product. Special apparatus, making it possible to use effectively the advantages of any particular method of desorption, are recommended for commercial impleme ntation of the most promising methods. 6 figures, 1 table, 7 references.
