Abstract
A variety of problems related to modelling of composition dependent Gibbs e nergies and other thermodynamic properties is discussed. The current proced ure adopted in the CALPHAD method for modelling intermediate metallic nonst oichiometric phases is described and analysed. Some possibilities towards m ore physical approaches are pointed out.
