Abstract
Colon and rectal carcinomas are common in North America and Northwestern Eu rope, In South America, the risk of this disease is not as great, Adenocarc inomas are the most common types of tumors, and they occur mainly in the de scending colon, sigmoid, and rectum. A patient with a possible right colon carcinoma was examined using F-18 FDG.
