Abstract
The treatment of photoaging is evolving through continued research into the normal functioning of the skin system, alterations brought about by chroni c photodamage, and the repair process. Laser resurfacing, using carbon diox ide and Er:YAG modalities, is an effective treatment for dermal photoaging.
