Abstract
The modification of cotton cellulose through a nucleophilic substitution re action with sodium benzoylthioglycollate (BTG) is described. BTG has been a pplied to cotton fabric by pad-thermosol processes and the resulting benzoy lated fabrics assessed for disperse dyeability. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science L td. All rights reserved.
