Abstract
We describe a patient who underwent surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy for s tage IIIB ovarian cancer at age 46 years in 1984. Five years later the pati ent developed a large liver metastasis that broke through the diaphragm and invaded basal segments of the lung. With different chemotherapy regimens t he patient has survived for 15 years with good quality of life.
