Abstract
Metalloproteinases have been implicated in the cleavage of a number of cell surface immune receptors. Oral administration of the metalloproteinase inh ibitor GI5402 attenuated the release of soluble CD27 and CD16 into the circ ulation after intravenous endotoxin injection in healthy humans.
